2005 STATE CHAMPS HONORED WITH MONUMENT

The 2005 State Champion Brenham Cubette softball team was honored Sunday with the dedication of a permanent monument at Alumni Field.

The Cubettes defeated Andrews, 4-1 in the Semifinals and Justin Northwest 2-1 in 11 innings in the State Championship Game.

Megan Winkelmann was named the Tournament MVP.

Named to the All-Tournament team were: Tiffany Dahlquist, Katie Bush, Kayla Albus, Holly Long and Haley Long.
