2015 “WARRANT ROUND UP” BEGINS TODAY

Washington County Attorney Renee Mueller announced during Tuesday morning’s Washington County Commissioners meeting that the 2015 Warrant Round Up is beginning  today (Tuesday), and will give persons who have warrants against them a chance to clear their name.

Persons who believe they may have a misdemeanor warrant out for their arrest, or a capias pro fine from the County Court at Law and or Justice of the Peace Courts #1 and #3 may go to the county’s website at co.washington,tx.us . Each court has a separate listing.

Once at the website, click on the word “Warrant Round-Up” on the home page, and check each court’s list to see if your name appears on any list. If your name appears on any list, follow the instructions at the top of each list.

Mueller says that those not taking care of warrants by either paying the outstanding monies ordered, or by turning themselves in to the Constables, may find themselves spending the holidays in the Washington County Jail.
