2016 “SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR” BEING SOUGHT

  

Nominations are being accepted for Washington County’s “Small Business of the Year” for 2016.

The 3rd annual Governor’s Small Business Forum will be hosted in Brenham, June 1st.  A highlight of the event will be the presentation of the “Small Business of the Year” awards.

The public is encouraged to nominate any business they feel is deserving.  Criteria for the award include:

• Lasting contributions to the growth and well-being of the community.
• Evidence of high professional and business standards.
• Leadership for others to follow, within its industry and its workforce.
• Locally owned/operated.

Local businesses are also encouraged to nominate themselves for the award.

Nominations are needed by Friday, April 15.
