CAMP FOR ALL HAS FUNDRAISING EVENT

Camp for All’s supporters came out to the camp's fundraising event,  ”Starry Safari” on Thursday, which raised more than $211,000.

The event was held at the Firemen’s Training Center, and some 350 supporters attended. The event was chaired by Elizabeth and Robert Rigney. Volunteer of the Year Judy Steinbach and Ellen and Jim Ellison were honored for their work with the organization.

Activities included an auction of experiences and unique items, along with a “Send a Camper to Camp” activity, which helps pays to bring campers to Camp for All.

Camp for All is a nationally recognized facility for children and adults with special needs. Working with 60 other non-profits, Camp for All has served more than 9000 children and adults.

  1. Camp for All is terriffic! It is one of very few fully accessible camps in the nation. As a family living with a member who is disabled, we have had the fortunate ability to spend a weekend every year as a family with the MS Society. We look forward to this event every year. We have made lifelong friends and experiences that would never have been possible under normal circumstances. Canoeing, fishing, horseback riding, and more. Kurt had done a wonderful job of managing The growth, and the staff is world class. This is a program worth supporting.
