18 WHEELER CRASH LEADS TO ACCIDENT IN NAVASOTA

  

A wreck involving an 18 wheeler lead to a three car pileup north of the Navasota bridge on Highway 6 Thursday.

Around noon, Navasota police said that an 18 wheeler crashed into a Dodge pickup truck that had a trailer attacked.

The Dodge ended up in a ditch, and the 18 wheeler crossed into the median on Highway 6. The 18 wheeler then landed in the other ditch, leaking oil and causing both sides of traffic to come to a standstill.

While traffic was slowing down, a women in a third car rear-ended someone, who then rear-ended a fifth car. The woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

There were no major injuries in any of the wrecks.
