290 ROADWORK BEGINS TONIGHT
An overlay project is set to begin tonight (Monday) in Brenham.
A Texas Department of Transportation contractor will begin overlaying the lanes of highway 290 from highway 36 to FM 389.
This work will take place from 6 pm to 7 am each night.
Motorists who travel this area should watch for lane closures and obey all traffic control.
This is a $1 million overlay project that is contracted to Knife River Corporation.
The entire project should be complete by thos winter.
