$3 MILLION IN COCAINE FOUND ON I10 IN FAYETTE COUNTY

Three million dollars’ worth of cocaine was found hidden in a vehicle on Interstate 10 Tuesday.  Fayette County Sheriff’s Office SGT Randy Thumann and K9 partner Lobos, stopped a Ford Fusion on Interstate 10 at 2:45 Tuesday afternoon for a traffic violation. After speaking to the driver and his girlfriend SGT Thumann became suspicious that the vehicle may be involved in transporting illegal narcotics. SGT Thumann was given consent to search the vehicle.

SGT Thumann deployed his canine Lobos to conduct and exterior sweep of the vehicle. Lobos alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics and followed the odor inside the vehicle to the cars seat. SGT Thumann and Investigator Smith located aftermarket compartments built into every seat and removed approximately 32 kilos of cocaine, with an estimated street value of $ 3 million dollars. The driver Cesar Garcia-Villalon (20) and passenger Paola Trejo-Gonzalez (21) both from Mexico were arrested for felony cocaine possession and released to the jail staff at the Fayette County Jail.

  1. I called Fayette Co. Sheriff’s office, out of curiosity, to find out what happens to these people who are arrested. Was told if the violators are illegal, they call ICE. Then, of course, they are sent back to Mexico. Then, as we all know, they keep repeating this offense. Then I thought maybe we should just put them in our prison system; however, that would mean extra expense for out Government. Guess there is no solution!!! Anyway, great work by Fayette Co. and Lobos — keep up the good work.

    1. A real border wall or fence would work. After the up front cost of wall construction it would save us billions dollars in law enforcement, social and medical services and hundreds if not thousands of lives. I have no doubt that the wall would quickly pay for itself unless we stop enforcing our laws again. While thought not to work by many for some reason, a fence works nearly 100% of the time if done by competent people. It does not need to be and should not be high tech, that’s a waste. What you do need is razor wire and plenty of it. Hungary built such a wall and fence in 2015. In Sep 2015, the country had 138,396 illegal aliens flood across its border. In Nov 2015 only 315 illegal aliens entered the country. Then after a few setbacks and gaps in the border were corrected the country had only 152 in Sep 2016. 152!!! If our border was that effective we may actually stop the drug trade, end human trafficking, end the sucking sound of jobs lost to globalism and low bid crap, end the parasitic attack on our medical and education system, and win a battle in the fight against multiculturalism and it’s war on our Christian culture.

No repeat offenders, no narco/drug culture as they’ll never get across the border in the first place. That’s the solution.

      1. I agree that a border wall would work if the taxpayers and voters get serious about border security. I have personally seen much of the border wall constructed by the prior administration. It is attractive as well as efficient, but it needs to be expanded. It does not need to be a physical wall in its entirety. There are many areas where the wall could use high tech devices very efficiently. Both sides of the isle need to quit playing politics. Citizens need to drop the attitude, “I want your illegal deported, but I need and want mine. He works cheap.” Illegals are anything but cheap to society when everything is considered. And for those who say “Well they take jobs others won’t take, I say this. Stop welfare as a way of life. Demand that those able to work, actually work. Pay a living wage, even if that requires some government participation and incentives. It won’t take that long for folks to realize that the gravy train has left the station. Then welfare can get back to becoming a helping hand for those who truly cannot do for themselves. Our system should look at everyone who has a past felony on their record. If certain felons have lived a crime free life since being released, after a given period of time, remove his past from his records except for closed government files that can be reopened if he/she is convicted of another felony.
