PART OF BURLESON COUNTY TO BE USED IN JADE HELM EXERCISE

A part of Burleson County will be used as campsite and staging area in an upcoming major Jade Helm 15 military exercise location in mid-August.

The operation will include use of the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service Brayton Fire Training Field, and a rural location in Burleson County.

On Monday, July 20th, Brazos County Chief Deputy Jim Stuart announced that the nighttime exercise will be part of a larger, multi-state training and would involve extraction of a human at Disaster City, which is a part of Brayton Field.

Jade Helm has been a controversial exercise in recent months, prompting many in some communities to protest the U.S military training exercise.

Some believe that it is the first step for the government to establish martial law, and some residents have kept a close eye on the operation to ensure the safety of the area, and to prevent any problems.

Governor Greg Abbott has also said that he would keep an eye on all Jade Helm activities, which began July 25 near Bastrop.

Only about 50 will reportedly train in the Brazos and Burleson County area.

The military has been performing these exercises for many years, and according to reports, the purpose of the training is to deal with the civilian population.

The operation is expected to end September 15.

  1. “the purpose of the training is to deal with the civilian population” Since when does the population need to be dealt with? Since marshal law is one of the ways obama can keep his office after his term to get things done that he otherwise couldn’t or can’t get done, I believe this maybe why the “civilian population” no longer trust the government. Because if he can’t get his wishes done legally he issues a executive order. He has made it clear “I have a phone and a pen”. Plan for the worst and hope for the best.

  2. I have said for years we have been breeding ignorance and now it is catching up. People without reason, get paranoid at everything. They told you they were going to train, if the military was the least bit interested in doing what many are dreaming, they darn sure wouldnt tell you about it ahead of time. It really saddens me that this country is on a downward spiral of ignorance. If you think about it, don’t we already have martial law with the way this current administration has been.
Buy this healthcare or be fined, Tax this group more so we can give it to someone else… We are already there folks..

  3. Reading most of the comments above, I get the feeling that we Americans are going to be victims of some kind of government conspiracy. Seems like the real victims are some individuals who are lacking in true higher education, and fear anything they are told by similar individuals to fear or, simply do not comprehend. Wag the dog. Will be interesting to see a news article published after these”training” exercises are completed that reveals their success and then hear some comments from the paranoid.

    1. I do not consider myself a conspiracy buff or uneducated for that matter. But I do consider myself an American who loves this country but I do not, let me repeat, I do not trust our government. The white house and his minions are untrustworthy and I am seeing way too many people believing the hype and lies that are being spewed forth from there. This could very well be an innocent exercise, or it could be more. We will probably never know the truth or the real reason behind it.

  4. These training runs are very odd. First, only special forces are participating…seals, rangers, and green beret. Second, the objective given publicly was training these elite soldiers to blend in with civilian activities to go unnoticed so their objectives can be accomplished. I have 2 things that i ponder….why the remote locations if the objective is blending in around suburban areas and the military now uses “cloaking” camo, this technology is incredible and it seriously makes the wearer invisible…imagine elite soldiers totally invisible to the human eye “blending in” on your street or in your back yard, around or in your place of employment, heck maybe in your home if the door stays open long enough….possibilities are endless in this 2 month training period

  5. Gotta be ready for anything these days! I love our military but don’t trust the White House at all! I don’t think this is necessary but We r living in crazy days now! End times for sure! Revelation!!!

  6. These military personnel are Americans. Lets repeat that, they are Americans. For anyone to think that these brave American soldiers are here to impose martial law on Texas citizens, is ridiculous. Certain organizations manipulate the minds of certain segments of the population thru fear mongering. If you are fortunate enough to encounter any of our soldiers involved in this training exercise, stop, thank them for serving and make them feel welcome in our state. Do not confine your praise and gratitude for veterans so easily displayed on your social media to just that, LIVE IT, for them and their families.

    1. A good soldier always performs his/her duty without question. A good soldier’s career is at stake, and OF COURSE good soldiers obey their higher authority.

It is not the soldiers who are a threat. OF COURSE one treats the soldier with respect. It is the orders issued from the higher authority one must suspect. When a good soldier is ordered to shoot his friends and family – THAT is when rumblings of mutiny begin. I survived one revolution – I know of what I speak.

      1. Ah, the Glorious Wisconsin String Cheese Revolution — yeah, I heard of that!
