412 CAST EARLY VOTES IN WASHINGTON CO. RUNOFF

  

Early voting has ended for Tuesday’s Runoff Election in Washington County.

According to County Clerk Beth Rothermel, 412 total early votes were cast in person – 382 Republican and 30 Democrats.

One local seat is up for grabs – the Republican nomination for County Commissioner in Precinct One between incumbent Zeb Heckmann and challenge Don Koester.

The winner will face Democrat Lewis Houser in the November general election.

On the Democratic ballot, the lone race is for Railroad Commissioner between Cody Garrett and Grady Yarborough.

Polls will be open Tuesday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Polling places have been consolidated for Tuesday’s voting:

Precinct 101: Friedens Church of Washington

Precincts 104, 115, 117, 121: Washington Co. Fair Events Center

Precinct 109: St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Sandy Hill

Precincts 202, 203, 205, 208: VFW Hall, Brenham

Precincts 307, 311, 312, 316, 320: American Legion Hall, Brenham

Precincts 406, 410, 413, 414, 418, 419: Blinn Student Center
