DECEASED TEXAS A&M STUDENT IDENTIFIED

The 19-year-old that died Saturday at a Texas A&M fraternity has been identified as Anton Gridnev, from Frisco, Texas.

Gridnev was a student at Texas A&M and a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity. According to police, he had recently moved into the fraternity house.

Officers responded to Sigma Nu earlier on Friday night to issue a warning to the fraternity members. At approximately 5 a.m. on Saturday morning the police were called again. This time they responded to Gridnev, who was unconscious and not breathing. He was given CPR and taken to the College Station Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

After finding illegal substances in the house, police arrested Ty Robertson, 21, on a charge of possession of LSD and Ecstasy; Michael Frymire, 20, on a possession of cannabis hash oil; and Samuel Patterson, 21, and Christian Sanford, 18, on possession of marijuana.

Police also issued three citations for possession of drug paraphernalia in the house. Those who received citations have been identified as 19-year-old Maxwell Gollomp, 19-year-old John Cain, and 20-year-old Zachary Farmer. All three men reside in College Station.

Police say the investigation into this incident is active, and that their primary focus is on the death of Gridnev. An autopsy report has been ordered to find the exact cause of death.
