WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS 2017 BUDGET
The Washington County Commissioners Court will discuss the 2017 budget during their meeting on Tuesday, September 20th.
A public hearing will be held to hear comments on the proposed budget. The budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $74,485, which is a .49 percent increase.
The Washington County Commissioners will then take a vote to approved the adoption of the budget, and ratify the property tax increase reflected in the 2017 budget.
The Court will also hear a monthly reports from the Sherriff’s Office, Washington County 911, EMS, Washington County Information Technology, and the Veterans Service Officers.
The Washington County Commissioners Court will meet at 9 a.m. at the Courthouse Chambers 103 in Brenham.
