ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING

  

An 18-year old man accidentally shot himself in the midnight hour today (Monday), when he was cleaning his firearm in the 1600 block of Burleson.

Brenham police officers Justin Schiller and David Dudenhoeffer were called to the scene at12:15am wWhen the officers arrived they found the man’s father using towels to apply pressure to a wound in his left leg.   The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.  The shooting has been ruled accidental.
