ADOPT A CEMETERY TO BE HELD TONIGHT
The Washington County Genealogical Society's ADOPT A CEMETERY kickoff event will be held tonight at the Ant Street Inn in downtown Brenham from 5:30 to 7:30pm.
240 cemeteries have been identified in the county that are on private land and have been forgotten and overrun with brush. The Adopt A Cemetery Program seeks to identify these cemeteries and clean them up.
