ALTON ELEMENTARY TO HOLD RIBBON CUTTING SUNDAY
The Washington County Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting Sunday, November 23rd for the new Alton Elementary School at 1210 S. Market from 4 to 6pm.
Principal Michael Ogg tells us that along with ribbon cutting, what else to expect during this event.
The new school is the result of a $26 million bond issue that Brenham school district voters approved in May of 2012, and is on the site of the one-time Brenham Elementary School on South Market. The Bond also allowed for major renovations at Brenham Middle School, which had their Open House on November 16th.
