A&M PROFESSOR TO ADDRESS NEW LIFE CHURCH LUNCHEON
An associate professor at Prairie View A&M is the featured speaker at a luncheon, Saturday at the New Life Church of God Family Life Center in Brenham.
Sigma Chi Chi Professional Women’s Club will host its annual scholarship luncheon Saturday at 11 a.m. at the center on FM 389.
The organization is celebrating 55 years of service to the citizens of Brenham and Washington County. The theme of the luncheon is “Revisiting the Past: The Reality of the Present and The Potential of the Future.”
Jones is an associate professor in the College of Agriculture and Human Sciences at Prairie View A&M University. He is a native of South Carolina, who earned three degrees from Texas A&M University.
Sigma Chi Chi provides scholarships for qualified graduating high school students, raising funds through the annual luncheon.
