UPDATE – AMBER ALERT – 13 YEAR OLD KATY GIRL FOUND

  

Reports at 5pm Tuesday indicate that Wendy Hernandez-Orantes has been found and is safe.  She was found at a Houston apartment complex, and three individuals have been detained for questioning. More details when they become available.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a 13-year-old girl last seen Monday near her school bus stop in Katy.Wendy Hernandez-Orantes was last seen walking toward the stop near 2013 North Fry Road. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Wendy is Hispanic with brown eyes and black hair. She is 4’10 and weighs about 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing beige, spandex pants and a gray blouse with a white square pattern on it. Her shoes are black and pink tennis shoes.

The suspect is a 20-year-old, Hispanic male named Jose Enrique Ramos Rivera who may go by the name Enrique Mejia also.
