ANTHONY ALLEN MURDER TRIAL TO BEGIN MONDAY
Final jury selection in the murder trial of a Caldwell man is set to get underway Monday.

25-year old Anthony Allen is charged with the January 2013 murder of Marcus Carroll at the Cotton Village Apartments in Snook.
A jury panel was called October 30th with the final selection set for Monday and opening arguments scheduled for Tuesday.
Co-defendant Broderick Grba was convicted in May and sentenced to life in prison.
The shooting occurred just after 2:30 a.m., January 6th of 2013 during a parking lot altercation between four men. Carroll was shot and killed during the incident, while Carroll was wounded along with Antoine Heslip.
Authorities say there had been an ongoing dispute between Carroll and Allen, and Allen had sought Grba’s help in dealing with Carroll.
