AREA ART STUDENTS TOUR THE TEXAS ARTS AND MUSIC FESTIVAL

Area high school art students got the chance to talk with the various artists at the Texas Arts and Music Festival this (Friday) morning.  Art students from Brenham, Burton and Sealy ISDs toured the Commerce Street area this morning talking with mural artists Michael Rodriguez and Jeff Soto.  They also toured the pop-up art gallery.

The Texas Arts and Music Festival is going on this weekend in downtown Brenham and is free to the public.  As part of the festival, three murals are being painted on buildings along Commerce Street.  The largest is on the rear of the three story Faske building at the corner of Commerce and South Baylor Streets.  Artist Jeff Soto says that the mural is expected to take 3 days to paint.
