25-year old Jamie Lynn Rooker of Sealy, has been arrested and charged with False Alarm or Report.

Local authorities, as well as Fire and E.M.S. personnel, responded to to the Dollar General after it was reported that a caller had stated that a bomb was in a trash can within the store.  The store was evacuated and no bomb was located.

Bellville Police Lt. Jason Smalley, said the investigation led them to a nearby residence that matched a cell number that the alleged bomb threat had been called in from.

Smalley also stated that "after further investigation, our attention quickly turned to Rooker, who was also an employee of the Dollar General, and who was working at the store the night of the bomb threat.

Smalley added "Rooker later told us that she had falsified the entire bomb threat because she was upset with a subject who had called the store earlier, and who's phone number was listed on the store's caller ID".

Rooker was booked into the Austin County Jail on a $2,000 bond.
