ARREST MADE IN BRYAN MURDER CASE

Bryan police have made an arrest in a Thursday morning homicide.
Police say 35-year old William Thomas Currie III, was taken into custody Thursday afternoon at a home near Spring Loop Drive and April Bloom.
According to KBTX-TV, Currie is accused of shooting to death 30-year old Carlos Mar of Bryan, early Thursday morning in the parking lot of a retail store along Texas Avenue near Post Office Road.
Mar's body was discovered around 4:45 a.m. after officers responded to a call of a man down in the area.
A motive for the homicide has not been publicly released at this time.
