‘ARSENIC AND OLD LACE’ AT BLINN THEATER THIS WEEK
The Blinn College-Brenham Campus Theatre Arts Program will get underway this week.
The theme of this year is ‘Lights Out: A Season of Dark Tales.’
The season will open Thursday night with Joseph Kesselring’s “Arsenic and Old Lace,” a dark comedy featuring characters played by Blinn faculty, returning Blinn students, and members of the Brenham community.
“Arsenic and Old Lace” will open at 7 p.m. Thursday, with shows Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Sunday, at the Dr. W.W. O’Donnell Performing Arts Center.
Other productions this season will include: Zombie Prom”, Oct. 12-15; “Hansel and Gretel” Nov. 16-19; “Black Comedy” Feb. 22-25; and the annual Theatre Arts Student Showcase, April 5-6.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students, children, and senior citizens. Students, Blinn faculty and staff receive free tickets with the code “staffcomp.”
