ASSISTANT CITY MANGER JOB OPENING RECEIVES SLEW OF APPLICANTS

  

Around 75 applications have been received for the newly open Assistant City Manager position for the City of Brenham. According to City Manager, Terry Roberts, the job opening is no longer posted but that they are still taking applications for the position that is being vacated by Rex Phelps.

A committee of City Administrators will review the applications and narrow down the number to allow personal interviews.

Phelps began in 2009 in Brenham as police chief before becoming the City Manager. His last day with the city was Friday and his expected to begin working with Haltom City sometime this week.
