ASTROS MAKE TRADE FOR SLUGGER

The Houston Astros have bolstered their line-up, as they traded for Atlanta Braves slugger Evan Gattis. The 28 yr. old Gattis has 43 HR in just 213 games for Atlanta. He has played catcher, first base and left field. It’s not clear yet where he will play for Houston, but he will add power to a line-up that already includes Jose Altuve, George Springer and Chris Carter. The Astros sent 3 prospects to Atlanta who is rebuilding after a dismal 2014. 3rd baseman Rio Ruiz, RHP Mike Foltynewicz and RHP Andrew Thurman.
