UPDATE – AT&T CUSTOMERS EXPERIENCING 911 OUTAGE

  

Update - At 10 pm Wednesday, Washington County Dispatch reported that the problem was corrected.  No reason for the AT&T 911 outage was given.

From the Brenham Police Department, Wednesday at 9:00 pm:

Washington County Communications- the County's 911 dispatch center- has been notified that AT&T customers are not able to call 911. IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY CALL 979-277-7373.

There has been no time frame given to Dispatch as to when AT&T customers can call 911 in the event of an emergency. The situation will continue to be monitored and updates provided as they come in.
