AUCTION TODAY–LITTLE MR/MISS CROWNED LAST NIGHT AT WC FAIR
Months of hard work pays off this afternoon at the Washington County Fair.
Thousands of dollars will be spent as the Junior Livestock Sale takes place at 2:00 this afternoon at the fairgrounds.
Two-hundred sixty lots in all will be up for auction, live on KWHI and www.kwhi.com.
The winners of the Little Mister and Miss Contest were announced last (Wednesday) night. The Little Mr. is Callen Schulte and Little Miss is Tinsley Kehlm.
Today is Senior Citizens Day at the Fairgrounds, with free admission. Free lunch will be served to all seniors beginning at 11:00 a.m.
The Heart of America Carnival opens at 6:00.
The rodeo begins at 7:30 at the Rodeo Arena.
Tonight’s entertainment will feature Texas music artists Flatland Cavalry at 8:00 and Green River Ordinance at 10:00.
Tomorrow’s schedule is highlighted by the Colt Sale at 4:30 and Commercial Steer Sale at 6:30. Tomorrow is also Children’s Day at the Fairgrounds.
