AUSTIN CO. SCHOOLS TAKING PART IN “WALK ACROSS TEXAS”

  

Walk Across Texas officially kicks off tomorrow (Sunday), with two Austin County school districts and their families taking park.

Students, teachers and their families from the Bellville and Brazos Consolidated districts will be challenged to move and become more active each week.

Over the next eight weeks, organizers say healthy habits will be formed which could potentially increase quality of life and a healthier lifestyle.  This program is designed to allow fun and fitness to unite.
