AUSTIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS HAVE LAW ENFORCEMENT CONCERNS

The Austin County Commissioners are looking at law enforcement grants as they hold their first meeting of the year Monday.

The Commissioners are expected to endorse an application for grant funding through the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division for the Crime Victims Liaison Officer.

The Commissioners are also ready to accept a donation for the Emergency Medical Service.

The Austin County Commissioners are also expected to approve funding for required school reimbursements for the V.G. Young Institute for County Judge and Commissioners.
