AUSTIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS JAIL ALARM SYSTEM UPDATE

  

A vote will be taken this morning (Monday) by the Austin County Commissioners to upgrade/combine the existing fire alarm system at the Austin County Jail into one control panel.

Commissioners will vote to authorize a one-time variance from Subdivision/Platting Regulations to subdivide 15 acres out of 161 acres on Mound Road in Precinct four and 3 acres out of 15.48 acres on Cemetery Road in Precinct two.

The Court will set a date for the public hearing for Plat of Settler’s Crossing, Section three in Precinct three as well as vote to accept the reports regarding racial profiling from the constables of precinct three and four.

The Austin County Commissioners Court will meet in the Commissioners Court meeting room at the Austin County Courthouse at 9am this morning (Monday).
