AUSTIN COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE TO BEGIN REVIEW OF LINDSEY CASE

  

The Austin County Sheriff’s Office has turned over its file regarding the investigation into Kristen Lindsey, and now the Austin County District Attorney will begin its review of the case.

Austin County District Attorney Travis Koehn released a statement on Tuesday acknowledging the widespread interest in the case, but has asked that calls to his office be limited to information on other criminal cases begin handled by his office, and has asked that if anyone has any information on the Lindsey case to email him at  travis.koehn@austincounty.com  to keep the phones lines free for other cases.

Lindsey, a Brenham veterinarian,  is accused of shooting a cat through the head with an arrow, then bragging about it on Facebook. She  could face animal cruelty charges.

Koehn says that the Lindsey case is still under investigation, and his office has no other comments at this time.
