AUSTIN COUNTY FAIR QUEEN CROWNED
The Austin County Fair Queen was crowned during a ceremony Thursday night.
Paige Schultz will serve at the 2016 Fair Queen. The first runner-up is Reagan Lamp and second runner-up is Cheyenne Bush. The Ticket Queen this year is Megan Hein, who sold $23,010 in ticket sales. The combined ticket sales for all thirteen contestants is $114,570.00.
The Austin County Fair continues into the weekend. The Youth Livestock Auction will take place at 12:30 today (Friday). The live music entertainment for tonight includes Mark Chesnutt, taking the stage at 10:15 p.m.
