AUSTIN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE FILES COMPLAINT ON FIVE OAKS ACHIEVEMENT CENTER

The Austin County Sheriff’s Office and Sheriff Brandes have filed a second complaint with the State of Texas concerning the Five Oaks Achievement Center at Pechacek Road in New Ulm after the retrieval of four runaways who left on Tuesday.

This is the 16th time the Sheriff’s department has responded to a runaway from the Center, with Brandes expressing concern about the safety of the runaways. Previous runaways have been found hiding in building on private property, and concern for the property owners if the runaway are approached.

The runaways on Tuesday were caught that morning and returned to the facility.
