AUSTIN MAN ARRESTED IN BRENHAM ON WARRANT
(Washington Co. Jail)
An Austin man has been arrested in Brenham on an outstanding warrant.
Monday morning, around 3:30, 32-year old Joel Roger Salas of Austin was pulled over by Corporal Jonathan Phipps on a traffic stop in the 2100 block of U.S. Highway 290 West.
Through further investigation it was discovered that Salas had an active warrant for his arrest for cruelty to non-livestock animals.
Salas was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail.
