AUSTIN MAN ARRESTED ON ASSAULT CHARGE

An Austin man has been arrested on an assault charge.
39-year old Egor Hernandez was taken into custody after authorities were called out to the 2100 block of Highway 290 West.
A caller told authorities that a man had been hitting a woman, then dragged her into a vehicle and left the location.
Officer Ashley Burns located the vehicle. Hernandez was taken into custody and charged with Assault—Physical Contact of a Family Member.
Hernandez was taken to the Washington County Jail.
