AUSTIN MAN ARRESTED ON WARRANTS
(Washington Co. Jail)
An Austin man is in custody after his arrest in Brenham on a number of outstanding warrants.
Friday afternoon, around 2:30, Officer Mickey Gressman responded to the WalMart parking lot in the 200 block of HIghway 290 West in reference to an animal welfare concern.
Further investigation revealed the owner of the animals, 38-year old Herbert Malvo of Austin had 6 active warrants out of Travis County and 1 active warrant out of Jefferson County for his arrest.
Malvo was placed in custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
