BANNER TO CEASE MONDAY EDITIONS
Brenham’s long-time daily newspaper has announced a major change.
In this weekend’s edition of the Brenham Banner-Press is the announcement that the Banner will no longer publish a Monday print edition.
The Banner-Press will continue its print and e-Editions Tuesdays-through-Fridays and Sundays.
Publisher Michael Mueck said it was not an easy decision and that “just like other businesses across America, newspapers must evolve and make transitions into the digital age.”
Mueck says the Banner-Press’ website will continue to cover events seven days a week.
The move to drop Monday editions is slated to take place beginning October 3rd.

Will reducing the issues from Six to Five also reduce the subscription price?
The Banner-press will become more and more irrelevant as long as their online edition is behind a paywall. They need to make the online edition work with advertising. KWHI has figured it out.
