BAYLOR ASSISTANT FIRED OVER PROSTITUTION ARREST

A member of the Baylor football coaching staff was arrested over the weekend.

33-year old Brandon Washington, the team’s new strength and conditioning coach was arrested in a prostitution sting.  Washington was arrested at a Waco hotel on a charge of Solicitation of Prostitution.

New Baylor head coach Matt Rhule says Washington was fired immediately upon learning of his arrest.

Washington was arrested just after midnight Saturday, upon his arrival at the hotel to allegedly meet a prostitute.

Washington was released the following morning after posting $1,000 bond.

Rhule issued a brief statement Monday: “When we arrived at Baylor, we made a commitment to character and integrity in our program.  Brandon’s actions are completely unacceptable. We will not tolerate conduct that is contradictory to these values
