BELLVILLE ISD EXPECTED TO ADOPT TAX RATE
The Board for the Bellville Independent School District is expected to adopt its tax rate during their meeting today (Thursday).
The Board has announced that the tax rate will remain the same this year. This will be the eighth straight year that the Bellville ISD has kept the tax rate the same. For property owners in the Bellville School District, that means a tax rate of $1.26 per $100 valuation. The Board says that $1.12 of the tax is for maintenance and operations, while the remaining 14 cents is for the interest and sinking fund.
The Bellville ISD School Board will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Bellville ISD Administration Building Board Room.
