BELLVILLE P.D. LOOKING FOR JEWELRY STORE BURGLAR

Bellville Police are searching for a burglar who struck a local business over the weekend.

Early Saturday morning, police responded to an alarm at Michelle's Jewelry on South Holland Street in Bellville.

Upon arrival, police found the front glass window had been broken with asphalt rocks.  Two glass display cases had been smashed with a hatchet that was left at the scene.  An undisclosed number of items were taken.
