BEN LEMAN RUNNING FOR DISTRICT 13 HOUSE SEAT

  

Grimes County Judge Ben Leman announced his resignation last week in order to run for the District 13 Texas House seat being vacated by Leighton Schubert.  Shubert announced last Thursday that he would not be seeking re-election.  Leman is one of 5 candidates that will be in the Republican primary in March.

Judge Leman said that he had no intention of running until he learned that Representative Schubert was not seeking re-election.  Leman explains why he decided to run:
