BENEFIT FOR WEGNER FAMILY A SUCCESS FOR ALL

  

The Brenham Flea Market hosted Benefit for the Wegner Family this past Saturday, and raised a total $545 to help the family, Mike, Jo, Julie and Willow Wegner

Willow was born with Down syndrome and as a toddler was diagnosed with leukemia. She is 7 years old and currently in remission but will face challenges with a weaken immune system for the rest of her life. With added medical expenses, insurance, medication, travel, chemo appointments this family is continuing to struggle to balance these issues.

Jennifer Clack, one of the organizers of the event, gives an update on the results of the fundraiser.

Proceeds will be used to purchase Willow a 64 GB iPad for Christmas, along with her sister a gift card to game stop and mom and dad a gift card for "date night".

Clack says that every month, a different organization will be chosen, and describes next month’s event.
