BETTY WASSERMANN, WIFE OF FORMER CUBS FOOTBALL COACH DIES
The wife of Brenham football coaching great Lloyd Wassermann has died.
Betty Wassermann died Monday in College Station. She was 77.
A native of Robinson, Betty married Coach Wassermann in 1958.
The couple resided in Mexia, Waco and Hillsboro before moving to Brenham.
In 1984, the couple settled in College Station where they remained.
Visitation will be Sunday at Hillier Funeral Home in College Station from 5-to-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10:00 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in College Station, with burial to follow at Pieper Cemetery in Barclay.
