BHS CHOIR STUDENTS EARN POSITIONS IN REGION 27 CHOIRS

Six Brenham High School Varsity Choir members earned positions in the prestigious Region 27 Choirs after a competition at Cy-Ranch High School last Saturday.

Of the six students, three will also go on to compete in the PreArea Contest.

Students that earned the honor of performing in the Region Choirs include:

  • Rasheedah Stewart- performing in the Region Treble Choir
  • Troy Freeman- performing in the Region Mixed Choir and also advancing to PreArea
  • Ezra Hackler -  performing in the Region Mixed Choir  and also advancing to PreArea
  • Stephanie Rivera - performing Region Honor Choir,
  • Nathaniel Hoelscher – performing in the Region Mixed Choir and advancing to PreArea, and
  • Jillian Steen - performing in the Region Mixed Choir.

The students will perform with the Region Choirs in Houston on November 4th. The community is invited to hear them locally on Thursday, November 17th at 6:30 pm at Brenham High School auditorium as they perform with the combined Brenham Choirs in the Fall Concert "This Is the Moment."  Admission is free to the event.
