BHS COMPUTER SCIENCE CLASSES PRESENT PROJECTS “SHARK TANK” STYLE

  

Brenham High School is inviting the community to see BHS computer science classes as they present their technology projects next Tuesday, Shark Tank style.

The BHS Computer Science Shark Tank Project is loosely modeled after the Shark Tank TV show. Students grouped up into groups of 2 to 4 students based on common interests were then tasked to come up with an original product or service incorporating elements of computer science and/or new technologies. The goal of the project is to promote authentic learning, encourage innovation, and raise scholarship money for inventive students.

BHs is asking for donations of $500 to $1000 that will be given as scholarships to the students on the winning team. Scholarship donors are also asked to consider sitting on the panel of judges to evaluate the projects.
