BHS TO HOST ‘WELCOME TO PRIDELAND’ JANUARY 23RD

Brenham High School will hold its second annual “Welcome to Prideland” event on Monday, January 23rd.

The come-and-go evening event is designed to welcome incoming freshmen to Brenham High School and inform them of academic and extracurricular options at the school. Brenham High School teacher, Amanda Dismukes, spoke with KWHI’s Ed Pothul during the BISD Roundtable this (Thursday) morning about the event:

Each Brenham High School department, club, and/or organization will have a table or booth set up to welcome visitors and answer questions. Students and parents can view examples of student work and student-created products, ask questions, and meet students and staff.

Each booth will also offer a drawing for special door prizes.  In addition, there will be a competition for most creative booth, most informative group, best door prize, etc.

The event is open for the whole family. Food and childcare for children ages 3-10 will be provided on-site.  Although the event targets incoming freshman, all current Brenham High School students are invited to join, as well as Brenham community members who are interested in learning more about Brenham High School.

“Welcom to Prideland will be on January 23 from 5:00-7:00 at Brenham High School.
