BIGGIO FINALLY IN HALL OF FAME
It may have taken 3 tries, but Craig Biggio is finally going to get his bust in Cooperstown. For the first time since 1955, 4-players have been inducted to the MLB Hall of Fame. Players needed 75% of votes for induction Randy Johnson (97.3), Pedro Martinez (91.1), John Smoltz (82.9) and Craig Biggio (82.7) are the players selected by voters. Jeff Bagwell missed out in his 5th year on the ballot, garnering (55.7 %) which is higher than last year. He was the 2nd one out of the Hall behind Mike Piazza. Don Mattingly is now off the ballot for consideration after not being elected for 15 years, also those receiving less than 5% of votes will no longer be considered.
