BIMAGE COMMITS TO LONGHORNS

Brenham Cubs linebacker Marqez Bimage has changed his commitment from the Houston Cougars to the Texas Longhorns.

Bimage, a three-star prospect, decided to commit to UT and new coach Tom Herman, who had recruited Bimage at Houston before taking the University of Texas post.

Bimage chose Texas over Baylor in making his final decision.

Bimage (6'3", 245 lbs.) recorded 57 tackles this season, 11 tackles for loss, and caused two fumbles – recovering one.  He also led the Cubs with 9 sacks in 12 games.

Bimage is ranked as the No. 25 inside linebacker in the country and No. 100 overall prospect in the state, according to 24/7Sports.
