BISD BOARD OF TRUSTEES DISCUSSING KRAUSE ELEMENTARY RENOVATION AT TONIGHT’S MEETING

  

The Brenham ISD Board of Trustees will go over the Krause Elementary School renovation project at this afternoon’s meeting.

The Board will hear updates on progress regarding the project, which includes rebuilt bathrooms, replaced carpets and new lighting in the school.   The process began at the end of the school year, and will last through the summer.

The Board will also get an update on the Early Childhood Learning Center demolition and remodeling.  In addition, bids will be heard for student transportation services.

The Board will also recognize the recipient of the “You Make a Difference” award, along with the Brenham ISD Teacher of the Year.

Other items include the consideration of a design-build firm for energy savings projects, an update on the 2018 STAAR assessments, a budget update and amendment, and a custodial services contract addendum.

The Board will meet tonight at 6 p.m. at Brenham High School, rooms 111 and 113.
