BISD CELEBRATES TEXAS PUBLIC SCHOOLS WEEK

  

Brenham ISD is inviting parents and community members to help the district to celebrate Texas Public Schools Week by visiting any of the BISD campuses this week.

Special campus events are planned to showcase the staff, students and programs. Brenham ISD will also have a district theme each day to allow students and staff to dress up in celebration of BISD.

Today (Monday) is “Muffins with Moms” on all campuses beginning at 7:30 a.m. in the library. Students and staff are invited to wear their favorite hat to school on to celebrate the district theme for the day, “Hats off to Brenham ISD.”

Tuesday, February 28th is “Donuts with Dads” on all campuses beginning at 7:30 a.m. in the library. The district theme is “Don’t Hide Your Brenham Pride”, students and staff are asked to wear camouflage.

“We’re Wired for Success” is taking place on Wednesday, March 1st. Follow #BISDwired to see all of the wonderful things happening across the district. Wear your favorite college or sports gear on Wednesday to celebrate the district theme, “Team up for Success.”

Thursday, March 2nd is Read Across America Day and also Texas Independence Day. Wear your red, white and blue to celebrate Dr. Seuss and Texas.

Friday, March 3rd is “Lunch with Family Friday” on all campuses. All parents,    grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins are invited to join their student for lunch at school. Make sure you wear your Cub green on Friday for “Green Out” day.

Everyone in the community is invited to visit the campuses and join in the fun on these special days. The School District asks anyone visiting to make sure to bring a valid ID and check in with the front office upon arrival.
