Students in grades 2-11 who are new to the school district in the fall 2016 semester of school may be nominated by parents, teachers or another adult to be tested for identification and enrollment in the district’s G/T program. The testing will take place at the end of the first six weeks of school. The district will also continue its practice of nominating and testing for G/T identification in the spring.

Parents or another adult may pick up a nomination form and a parent checklist from their child’s counselor.  Nomination forms and parent checklists must be returned to the campus counselor no later than noon on Wednesday, September 21st.

Students will be tested and identified during the week of September 26th through the 30th.  The test results and parent permission forms for newly identified G/T students will be sent home on Friday, Sept. 30. Students newly identified as G/T will receive services at the start of the second six weeks of school on October 3rd.
