BISD IMPLEMENTING NEW MEAL PAYMENT SYSTEM

Brenham ISD is implementing a new meal payment system.

Parents should be advised that the current online payment system, Lunch Money Now, will no longer be active after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017.

The Brenham ISD Child Nutrition Department announced the new point of sale system which is accompanied by a new online meal payment system, EZ School Pay.

This new online payment system will start at the end of this school year and can be accessed at www.ezschoolpay.com or from www.brenhamisd.net by clicking the green Child Nutrition quicklink in the left sidebar.

“Please make sure your child has an adequate balance in Lunch Money Now to sustain lunch payments until the go-live dates below or plan to send cash/check payment to your child’s campus during the gap period” said the school district in a statement. “Remaining funds from student’s current Lunch Money Now account will automatically roll over to the new system effective on the go-live dates.”

Online meal applications will also be unavailable through Meal App Now after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017. Paper meal applications will be available in the front office at each campus.

Below are the dates that the new system will be live at BISD’s campuses:

  • Brenham Junior High School              Thursday, May 4
  • Brenham High School                        Friday, May 5
  • Brenham Middle School                      Thursday, May 11
  • Brenham Elementary School              Friday, May 12
  • Alton Elementary School                     Tuesday, May 16

  1. Back in March the school board approved going to a new Point of Sale system. The old system was old and antiquated it was bought in 1994 and it ran on a command line. The new system is much faster and has redundancy built in. Because, the software is from a different company they have their own payment system for getting money into the students account. I hope this clears up your question.
